A system and method for anonymous message forwarding architecture is presented. A voter sends a vote selection to a mail forwarding server that removes the identity of the voter. The mail forwarding server has administrative options given to it by the receiving server. Administrative options include the ability to manage who is authorized to vote, how often an individual is allowed to vote, and confirmation of accepting a vote from an authorized user, or confirmation of rejecting a vote from an unauthorized user. The mail forwarding server sends the anonymous vote selection to the receiving server for vote calculation. The mail forwarding server also has the ability to perform vote selection calculation and may send a single, compiled file to the receiving server.

If a curve is used, the set of rules determine characteristics of the curve through the derivation of control points. In some implementations, a smoothness adjustment factor can be applied to magnitudes of curve control points to reduce excessive smoothing for large distances between data points and maintain acceptable smoothing for short distances between data points. The magnitude can then be adjusted by multiplying by a constant factor which can be determined (e.g., heuristically) from the processing speed and resolution of the device upon which the curve is being rendered.

Example methods and mechanisms are described herein for implementing and adiabatically operating a topological quantum computing (TQC) phase gate that complements the existing Clifford operations, and thereby allows universal quantum computation with Majorana systems. Further, the design used for the testing of the inequality leads directly to a practical platform for performing universal TQC with Majorana wires in which explicit braiding need never occur. Thus, certain embodiments of the disclosed technology involve three synergistically connected aspects of anyonic TQC (in the context of the currently active area of using MZMs for topological quantum computation): a practical phase gate for universal topological quantum computation using MZMs, a precise protocol (using CHSH inequality) for testing that the desired gate operation has been achieved, and bypassing the necessity of MZM braiding (and so avoiding, e.g., problems of nonadiabaticity in the braids).

The transparent laminate structure further comprises a plurality of stiff conductive elements formed on a surface of the at least one soft dielectric layer that, in the presence of an electric field, compress the at least one soft dielectric layer to alter a morphology of the surface of the at least one soft dielectric layer on which the plurality of stiff conductive elements are formed. The sensing system then extrapolates information regarding the type of movement or pose and at least one characteristic of the type a movement or pose. 1. A multimodal sensing system , comprising:a plurality of sensors operably located within a housing, wherein the housing is adapted to be placed proximate to a body part, the plurality of sensors adapted to receive a plurality of signals related to at least one of a movement and a pose of the body part; and,a processor operably connected to the plurality of sensors, wherein the processor is adapted to receive information from each of the plurality of sensors, and to process the information to determine a type of the at least one of a movement and a pose and at least one characteristic of the type of the at least one of a movement and a pose.2. The sensing system of claim 1 , wherein the body part is a wrist.3. The sensing system of claim 2 , wherein the type of the at least one of a movement and a pose is a pinch.4. The sensing system of claim 2 , wherein the type of the at least one of a movement and a pose is a touch.5. The sensing system of claim 2 , wherein the type of the at least one of a movement and a pose is a tap.6. The sensing system of claim 1 , further comprising infusing a signal into the body part.7. The sensing system of claim 1 , further comprising transmitting a mechanical signal.8. Noise compensation in controlled source electromagnetics (CSEM) comprises measuring time-varying magnetic gradients of the marine environment subjected to CSEM. From the measured magnetic gradients, oceanographic electric and magnetic field noise is determined and used for noise compensation of CSEM measurements of electric and magnetic fields. Selection of magnetic gradient measurement provides improved measurement of oceanographic magnetic noise as other electromagnetic noise sources produce negligible magnetic gradients in the marine environment. Electric field noise is then predicted from the magnetic measurements.

Compounds of Formula I, and their N-oxides and agriculturally suitable salts, are disclosed which are useful for controlling undesired vegetation wherein R 1 is cyclopropyl optionally substituted with 1-5 R 5 , isopropyl optionally substituted with 1-5 R 6 , or phenyl optionally substituted with 1-3 R 7 ; R 2 is ((O) j C(R 15 )(R 16 )) k R; R is CO 2 H or a herbicidally effective derivative of CO 2 H; R 3 is halogen, cyano, nitro, OR 20 , SR 21 or N(R 22 )R 23 ; R 4 is —N(R 24 )R 25 or —NO 2 ; j is 0 or 1; and k is 0 or 1; provided that when k is 0, then j is 0; and R 5 , R 6 , R 7 , R 15 , R 16 , R 20 , R 21 , R 22 , R 23 , R 24 and R 25 are as defined in the disclosure. Also disclosed are compositions comprising the compounds of Formula I and a method for controlling undesired vegetation which involves contacting the vegetation or its environment with an effective amount of a compound of Formula I. Also disclosed are compositions comprising a compound of Formula I and at least one additional active ingredient selected from the group consisting of an other herbicide and a herbicide safener.
