In the present invention there is disclosed a process for preparing o-aminophenylcyclopropylketone. The proposed process is characterized in that dihydro-3-acetyl-2(3H)-furanone is brought into reaction with 0.5 to 1.0 M equivalent of magnesium alkoxide having 1 to 4 carbon atoms at a temperature in the range of 0 to 25 degC. The obtained intermediate is then brought into reaction with at least one molar equivalent of o-nitrobenzoylhalide in the presence of a solvent and at a temperature in the range of 15 to 35 degC. The obtained second intermediate is then heated in the presence of water, the formed dihydro-3-(o-nitrobenzoyl)-2(3H)-furanone is then brought into reaction hydrogen halide and the obtained 4-halogen-2ˆ-nitrobutyrophenone is recycled in the presence of a base. The obtained o-nitrophenyl cyclopropylketone is subsequently hydrogenated in the presence of a catalyst under formation of a target product. O-aminophenylcyclopropylketone, being an intermediate for the preparation of a herbicidally active and with respect to plants selective agent, 1-[[o-(cyclopropylcarbonyl)phenyl]sulfamoyl]-3-(4,6-dimethoxy-2-pyrimidinyl)-urea.

A method and system for the transmission of digital data (210) over existing analog radio frequencies (230) is presented, wherein the digital data may include audio data, visual data or audio-visual data for presentation either with analog broadcast data or at a selectable time. The digital data may be transmitted over a plurality of sub-channels that have varying degrees or reliability (250). A 'quality-of-service' process manages the transmission of digital data over various sub-channels based on the reliability of the sub-channel, the amount of digital data and the type of digital data to be transmitted. The digital data may further be encrypted and authenticated.
