Eine Abgaswärmerückgewinnungsvorrichtung (EGHR) ist so positioniert, dass sie das aus einer, zwei oder allen Motorheizungen, dem Heizungswärmetauscher und der Getriebeölheizung austretende Kühlmittel aufnimmt und das Kühlmittel während des Kaltstartbetriebs des Motors auf einem Weg zur Kühlpumpe zurückführt.

Relatively cost effective high-speed TCP/IP links are available. However latency issues with TCP/IP prevents their use for transferring large files, especially full motion video for viewing in real time. The present method and apparatus establishes a multi-channel pipeline within the high-speed link from a source node to a target node. A desired file resident on a server of source node is first parsed into chunks of predetermined size appended with a sequence number and placed into circular buffer. The circular buffer is emptied into a next available channel in the multi-channel pipeline established in the high-speed link. The TCP/IP socket channels transfer chunks from the source node to the target node and acknowledge each chunk and then allow circular buffer to transfer the next available chunk. The target node stores the incoming chunks in circular buffer then transfers them in the file assembler into memory in dependence upon the sequence number. Once the file is reassembled it is transferred to server and made available to end user. Advantageously, a more cost effective link may be used for transfer of relatively large files. This technique may also be applied to access networks.

Memory requests and responses thereto include a tag that has a shift value indicating the misalignment between the first byte of required packet data and the first byte of a line of data in memory. A packet buffer controller receiving data with an associated tag uses the shift value to shift the received line of data accordingly. The first line of data for the packet data payload is shifted accordingly and written into the packet buffer. Subsequent lines of data require masking the previous line of data except for the last N bytes where N equals the shift value. The shifted line of data is written over the previous line so that the lower order bytes of the shifted received line of data are written. Then the shifted line of data is written into the next line of the packet buffer.

A method for controlling the dilution air supply to a partial flow dilution tunnel in a gas sampling system is provided. The gas sampling system is capable of testing and certifying internal combustion engines under transient conditions and includes a partial flow dilution tunnel, master and slave mass flow controllers and a transient dilution air flow controlling arrangement. The transient dilution air flow controlling arrangement measures the transient changes in intake air and varies the flow of diluent air to the partial flow dilution tunnel. By controlling the diluent air in this manner ensures that a particle sample can be taken at any time that is at a constant proportion to the exhaust flow rate.

The present invention relates to a light assembly for a vehicle comprising: a housing; a lens covering the housing; a plurality of light sources arranged in the housing; wherein the plurality of light sources comprises at least one first light source, at least one second light source and at least one third light source; and a reflector body mounted in the housing; wherein the reflector body comprises a reflector element and different zones for each of the at least one light sources; wherein light emitted by the at least one first light source is captured by the reflector element which reflects the light towards the lens, the lens directing the light generally downward towards the ground area when the light assembly is attached to the vehicle, light emitted by the at least one second light source is passed through an aperture in the reflector body without reflection of the emitted light, and light emitted from the at least one third light source is captured by the reflector body which reflects and directs the light, in particular, horizontally towards the lens, with the lens in particular directing the light generally horizontal, and a light collector is located between the reflector body and the housing; wherein the light collector captures and transmits the light emitted from at least one of the at least one light sources, a rear view device and a vehicle with at least one light assembly.
