A thermal oxidation tester is shown for determining thermal stability of a fluid, particularly hydrocarbons when subjected to elevated temperatures. The tendency of the heated fluid to oxidize and (1) form deposits on a surface of a heater tube and (2) form solids therein, are both measured at a given flow rate, temperature and time. The measured results are used to determine whether a fluid sample passes or fails the test. Results of measurements are recorded in a memory device on one end of the heater tube on which the deposits were made. 1. An apparatus for testing thermal oxidation stability of a test sample such as a hydrocarbon fuel comprising:a source of electric power;an intelligent heater tube connected to said source of electric power for flowing current to heat a center section of said intelligent heater tube to a predetermined temperature;a coolant flow circuit supplying coolant to each end of said intelligent heater tube to keep each end thereof near room temperature;an aeration circuit with an aeration pump for pumping air to aerate said test simple in a sample container;a test sample flow circuit for flowing said test sample around said center section to heat said test sample to said predetermined temperature, sample drive pump pumping said test sample from said sample container around said center section of said intelligent heater tube;', 'a differential pressure filter in said test sample flow circuit after said intelligent heater tube to filter out any solids that may have formed in said test sample when heated to said predetermined temperature due to oxidation of said test sample;', 'a differential pressure sensor for measuring differential pressure across said differential pressure filter;', 'a back pressure regulator for maintaining said test sample being pumped by said sample drive pump at a test pressure high enough to keep said test sample in a liquid phase when heated to said predetermined temperature;', 'waste container for collecting such ...

An autonomous item generation system implements a trained machine learning model configured to output fabrication instructions for generating an item and metadata describing the item, automatically and independent of user input. Fabrication instructions output by the machine learning model are transmitted to a fabrication device for generating the item. The autonomous item generation system generates a listing for the item based on the metadata output by the machine learning model and publishes the listing to a virtual marketplace. Analytics data describing feedback for the item listing is used to generate training data for the machine learning model. The training data is input to the machine learning model, which causes the machine learning model to refine at least one control parameter according to a loss function that penalizes negative differences between predicted and observed feedback data for the item. The machine learning model with the refined parameter(s) is then used by the autonomous item generation system to generate fabrication instructions and metadata for an additional item. 1. A touch panel is formed by firstly forming a film layer on a first plate, and next, sequentially forming a buffer layer on the film layer, forming a sensing layer on the buffer layer, forming a second plate on the sensing layer. After the foregoing formation procedures, the first substrate layer is removed from the film layer. Next, a cover is attached to the film layer. FOUR-DIMENSIONAL IMAGING METHOD FOR STRUCTURAL DAMAGE BASED ON TIME-INVARIANT CHARACTERISTIC SIGNAL

Номер: US20200225112A1

The present disclosure provides a four-dimensional imaging method for structural damage based on a time-invariant characteristic signal. The method first uses a probability statistical modeling method to describe the uncertainty distribution of the amplitude of each sampling point in the signal in the healthy state and the damaged state of the structure, respectively. Then the degree of difference between the two distributions at each point is measured to suppress the influence of the time-varying factor, highlight the influence of damage, and construct a time-invariant characteristic signal. Finally, the time-invariant characteristic signal of the pitch-catch channel is fused by using the guided wave imaging method to further enhance the influence of damage. Based on this, four-dimensional imaging is performed to achieve reliable and accurate location of structural damage. The present disclosure solves the problem that the conventional method is difficult to perform reliable damage diagnosis under time-varying service conditions. 1. A four-dimensional imaging method for structural damage based on a time-invariant characteristic signal , comprising:constructing a time-invariant characteristic signal: describing an uncertainty distribution of an amplitude of each sampling point in a guided wave signal under an influence of a time-varying factor by using a probabilistic statistical modeling method, updating a model and quantifying a migration degree of the model during a monitoring process, so as to suppress an influence of the time-varying factor and highlight an influence of damage, obtaining a time-invariant description of the amplitude of each sampling point, and smooth filtering the time-invariant description of the amplitude of all of the sampling points based on a continuous complex wavelet transform to construct the time-invariant characteristic signal; andfour-dimensional imaging damage: fusing a time-invariant characteristic signal of each pitch-catch ...

Call transfer with multiple application servers in session initiation protocol-based network

Номер: US20090034516A1
Принадлежит: Alcatel Lucent USA Inc

Call transfer techniques between multiple application servers in a SIP-based network or other type of communication network are disclosed. In accordance with one example technique of the invention, it is assumed that a first call is established between a first user device and a second user device via a first server, and the second user device, wishing to initiate a call transfer to a third user device, establishes a second call between itself and the third user device via a second server. Thus, the technique includes the following steps. Upon the first server receiving a call transfer request from the second user device such that the first user device and the third user device can communicate, it is determined whether the first server has information that matches the second call. Upon determining that the first server does not have information matching the second call, a message is sent from the first server to the second server so as to obtain information from the third device such that the first user device and the third user device can communicate via the first server. The message sent from the first server to the second server indicates that the call transfer request was referred by the second user device.
