LIMITED CHANNEL INFORMATION FEEDBACK ERROR-FREE CHANNEL VECTOR QUANIZATION SCHEME FOR PRECODING MU-MIMO

Номер: US20110150114A1
Принадлежит: NXP B.V.

A multiuser downlink multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system with limited channel information feedback includes an error-free channel vector quantization scheme. Each user has multiple antennas, and the base station includes a matching number of antennas. Each MIMO channel is measured at the terminus end of a corresponding user, and used to obtain the channel state information at the receiver (CSIR). A few data bits of CSIR information are feed back to the base station through the limited feedback channels. The base station collects all these CSIR feedback data bits into a CSI at the transmitter (CSIT). The CSIT is used to determine which users are served, and how to configure a corresponding multi-user precoder. The user data channels will later all be transmitted through such precoder. A codebook of channel quantization vectors is pre-defined and distributed amongst the base station and all the users.

Electrochemical discharge-enabled micro-grinding process for micro-components of silicon-based materials

Номер: US0011904400B2

This paper describes an invention involving an electrochemical discharge-enabled micro-grinding process for micro-components of silicon-based materials. The specific machining method is described below. A micro-grinding tool and an auxiliary electrode are respectively connected to the negative and positive electrodes of a pulsed DC power supply. When the current flows through the loop, an electrochemical hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) occurs at the micro-grinding tool in the grinding fluid, which generate multiple hydrogen bubbles. The bubbles coalesce into an insulating gas film and separate the micro-grinding tool from the grinding fluid; when the critical voltage is reached, the gas film is broken down and an electrochemical discharge occurs accompanied by discharge spark; under the action of the discharge spark, the surface material of the workpiece in the discharge-affected region is directly ablated to generate a heat-affected layer (HAL), namely, physical modification.

According to one embodiment, the catalyst is made by a method in which, in a first step, an Mn-doped ZIF-8 catalyst precursor is prepared by reacting a first solution comprising zinc nitrate hexahydrate and manganese chloride dissolved in an acid/water solution with a second solution comprising 2-methylimidazole dissolved in water. Then, in a second step, the Mn-doped ZIF-8 catalyst precursor is thermally activated, i.e., carbonized, to form an Mn—N—C catalyst. Preferably, the thermal activation is performed in a multistep fashion, first at a lower temperature of about 800° C. and then at a higher temperature of about 1100° C. After carbonization, the catalyst material may optionally be subjected to an absorption process, followed by a second thermal activation. The absorption process may involve dispersing the catalyst material in a solution of manganese chloride and urea in hydrochloric acid and isopropanol.

Method and device for realizing synchronization

Номер: US20190075531A1

The invention relates to the technical field of communications, and more particularly, to a method and device for realizing synchronization. The method comprises: performing, by a base station, and according to an SRS signal transmitted by a terminal, filtering to obtain a RRU channel having the maximum receiving power in a current operation; upon determining that the RRU channel having the maximum receiving power in the current operation is different from a RRU channel used in the currently performed demodulation, refraining from performing immediate switching; and permitting switching of the RRU channel only when the receiving power of the RRU channel is determined to match the maximum threshold of a preset series of thresholds, and transmitting a TA command word to the terminal while switching the RRU channel to complete synchronization with the terminal. The invention prevents a terminal from frequently switching between RRU channels on a subframe basis. Moreover, a TA command word is transmitted while switching is being performed, thereby preventing a problem in which when a change in a RRU channel occurs, a TA command word is not received by a terminal for a long time, resulting in an asynchronous operation.

Content consumption session progress is predicted based on historical observations of how users have interacted with a repository of digital content. This is approached as a matrix completion problem. Information extracted from tracking logs maintained by one or more content providers is used to estimate the extent to which various content items are consumed. The extracted session progress data is used to populate a session progress matrix in which each matrix element represents a session progress for a particular user consuming a particular content item. This matrix, which in principle will be highly (≳95%) sparse, can be completed using a collaborative filtering matrix completion technique. Method of Transforming Biomass into Hydrocarbon

Номер: US20170240925A1
Принадлежит:

A method is provided to transform biomass. Non-food biomass is preprocessed. Then, fermentation is processed to generate ethanol. Ethanol is dehydrated through a catalyst to generate ethylene. After the dehydration, oligomerization is processed with a catalyst to transform ethylene into olefins having 6˜20 carbon atoms (C˜C). The olefins are hydrotreated into alkanes. Thus, C˜Chydrocarbons having long carbon chains are formed. The hydrocarbons having 6˜10 carbon atoms can be used as gasoline; those having 8˜16 carbon atoms, jet fuel; and those having 16˜20 carbon atoms, diesel. On generating ethanol, byproducts of lignin may be generated. The byproducts can be processed through depolymerization/deoxygenation to generate aromatic hydrocarbons or can be gasified to generate methanol or dimethyl ether. By further processing dehydration, aromatic hydrocarbons are generated to be mixed into gasoline, jet fuel or diesel. Or, the lignin byproducts are gasified to generate syngas. 1. A method of transforming biomass into hydrocarbons , comprising steps of:preprocessing a non-grain biomass and fermenting said biomass into ethanol and lignin;processing said ethanol through dehydration with a catalyst to obtain ethylene; transforming said ethylene into of olefin having 6˜20 carbon atoms through oligomerization with a catalyst; and{'sub': 6', '20, 'hydrotreating said olefin into alkanes having long carbon chains of C˜C, wherein said alkanes having 6˜10 carbon atoms form gasoline; said alkanes having 8˜16 carbon atoms form jet fuel; and said alkanes having 16˜20 carbon atoms form diesel fuel;'}processing said lignin through depolymerization/deoxygenation to obtain aromatic hydrocarbon;processing said lignin through gasification to obtain syngas; andprocessing said products of syngas through a synthesis reaction to obtain one or both of methanol and dimethyl ether which is then dehydrated with a catalyst to obtain aromatic hydrocarbon and blended into gasoline/jet fuel/diesel and ...
