A method is provided for estimating the degree of saturation (S) of a reversible solid ammonia storage material ( 3 ) in a storage unit ( 1 ). The storage unit ( 1 ) is equipped with a heater ( 2 ) to release ammonia and a connected tube ( 4 ) for ammonia flow. The initial temperature (T INIT ) is measured with a sensor ( 9 ) in or around the storage unit ( 1 ) before any heating is initiated. The present disclosure relates to a disc brake having an electromechanical actuator for vehicles, in particular for utility vehicles, comprising a brake disc, a brake carrier and a brake caliper of a vehicle for applying the brake disc by means of brake linings. Current tests have shown that the tappet after assembly is not fixed correctly in a housing of the electromechanical actuator. The tappet may after positioning fall out of the rotary lever, which results in the force transmission for applying the brake disc being interrupted and the brake disc not being able to be applied. An object of the present disclosure is to overcome the problems from the prior art and to provide a disc brake with an electromechanical actuator which reduces or even prevents damage to the tappet, the cam disc and the housing of the electromechanical actuator.

A truck axle may include a disc brake having a brake caliper and brake pads for application onto the brake disc. The brake caliper has a first interior space with an opening on the side facing the brake disc for receiving an application device, and the brake caliper has a second interior space for receiving the brake disc. The truck axle with the disc brake is optimized with respect to cost and installation space, wherein the disc brake can easily be mounted on a truck axle. A brake caliper includes bolt guides, and a wheel carrier includes guide bolts that receive the bolt guides thereon. An axial space is defined within a bolt guide hole between a base of the bolt guide hole and the end of the guide bolts disposed within the bolt guide hole. The guide bolts may be integral with or separately connected to the wheel carrier.

The invention relates to a method for compensating thermal shifts that occur in a machine tool (10) comprising a work table (21) for mounting workpieces (22) to be machined and a tool spindle (18) which can be displaced relative to the work table (21) in at least one axis (14, 15, 16), tools (19) being mounted and being used to machine the work pieces (22). According to said method, a temperature value actually measured in one measuring point (31, 32, 33, 34) on the machine tool (10) is used to calculate, following a calculation rule, at least one correction factor for the at least one axis (14, 15, 16). The calculation rule is adapted to the respective machining process.

A solid sorption heat pump is provided that includes an adsorber/desorber unit including a heat exchanger and a solid sorption material. The adsorber/desorber unit is placed in a common housing, which is sealed against the outside atmosphere, together with a condenser/evaporator unit, and the adsorber/desorber unit and the condenser/evaporator unit are separated from one another by an adsorbant-permeable element. The adsorber/desorber unit includes a thermoconductive absorbent holding body, which is connected in a thermoconductive manner to the heat exchanger. The absorbant holding body holds the sorption material, and provides stability to the adsorber/desorber unit. The interior of the common housing is subjected to the action of a negative pressure. The common housing is provided as a thin-walled sheet metal sheathing that is placed on the absorbent holding body, whereby diverting the collapsing forces generated by the negative pressure to the holding body and/or to the heat exchanger and to the condenser/evaporator unit.

Der Tragkörper (1) weist von seinem Fußabschnitt (15) ausgehend einen ersten Zylinderabschnitt mit radial nach außen über die Stützringe (7, 8, 9) vorstehenden Stegabschnitten (45) auf und hat im Anschluß daran einen zylindrischen Kopfabschnitt (18) mit geringerem Außendurchmesser.
