A floor-cleaning device is described. The active radiation of a laser in the wavelength region between 0.2 and 20 microns is guided into the suction region of the suction nozzle of a suction apparatus. At the same time a fluid matched to the respective cleaning task can be applied as an aerosol onto the surface subjected to laser radiation inside the suction nozzle. A CO2 laser is used. A mirror hinge arm is used coaxially or paraxial-wise to the suction hose of the suction apparatus as a jet guidance system. The radiation is guided through an optically flexible hollow wave conductor in the region of the suction nozzle.
