An optical path diverting device is provided between the first substrate and the second substrate, the optical path diverting device is configured so that a light entering the blue phase liquid crystal layer in the first direction from the first substrate is diverted to propagate in the blue phase liquid crystal layer in a second direction parallel to the display panel, and then the light propagating in the second direction is diverted to pass through the blue phase liquid crystal layer and exit from the second substrate in the first direction. According to the present invention, by providing an optical path diverting device in the liquid crystal cell, the display panel can perform normal display even under a vertical electric field, and thus solves the problem that the driving voltage is too large by using a lateral electric field.

In the present invention, the two cholesteric liquid crystal cells are connected together, such that transparent display as well as double-side display can be achieved by using the reflective, polarizing and full stable performance of the cholesteric liquid crystals as well as by controlling voltage to switch two cholesteric liquid crystal cells between a plane orientation and a vertical orientation. In addition, with this technology, no polarizer is used and light absorption is removed, thus, the transmission rate of the display device is improved. Further, with this technology, no backlight is required, and the display is achieved by using the reflection-transmission of the cholesteric liquid crystals, therefore, energy is saved. Moreover, with this technology, no liquid-crystal-molecule alignment film is required and no rubbing process is required, therefore, the process is simplified.

In this inventive concept, the width of the doped semiconductor layer on the emission region is larger than the width of the emission region, that equivalently increases the width of the emission region, which in turn increases the DC amplification factor (β) and therefore improves the overall performance of the semiconductor device.

The ring-like electrode layer (120) includes a first ring-like electrode region (301) and a second ring-like electrode region (302), and the second ring-like electrode region (302) is concentric with the first ring-like electrode region (301) and surrounds the first ring-like electrode region (301); the first ring-like electrode region (301) is configured to drive corresponding liquid crystal molecules in the liquid crystal layer (131), so as to form a first Fresnel zone plate region (111) in the liquid crystal cell (100); the second ring-like electrode region (302) is configured to drive corresponding liquid crystal molecules in the liquid crystal layer (131), so as to form a second Fresnel zone plate region (112) of the liquid crystal cell (100); and an order of the second Fresnel zone plate region (112) is smaller than an order of the first Fresnel zone plate region (111). In this way, a size of the liquid crystal cell (100) can be increased and/or a focal length of the liquid crystal cell (100) can be reduced while transmittance is guaranteed, so as to allow the liquid crystal cell (100) to be suitable for fabricating liquid crystal spectacles.
