The invention discloses an iron-based spray welding powder for buildup welding. The iron-based spray welding powder is composed of, by weight, 25-32% of chromium, 2-5% of molybdenum, 1.3-3% of boron, 0.5-5% of manganese, 11-16% of nickel, 0.1-0.3% of nitrogen, 0.5-3% of titanium, not larger than 4% of aluminum, 0.04-4% of silicone, smaller than 0.1% of carbon and the rest iron. The iron-based spray welding powder can replace stellite-6 cobalt-based alloy powder to be used in a plasma buildup welding process to protect and repair of an engine air valve, and cost is greatly lowered while high-temperature performance is guaranteed. In addition, the iron-based spray welding powder has high process performance, and preheating treatment needs to be performed on a substrate before stellite 1-6 alloy powder buildup welding to avoid cracking of a welding seam. A substrate for buildup welding through the iron-based spray welding powder does not need to be subjected to preheating treatment, so that ...
