Due to its operation, it only requires a minimal expenditure of 600 millilitres of water per minute, and is capable of vertically generating a soft, dense curtain of rain, produced by fine lines of water that form concentric parabolas with various ranges, generated by a novel system of micro-conduits arranged in various circumferences, oriented at various firing angles and executed perpendicularly on the surface of a hollow hemisphere. The head is characterised in that it produces a soft, dense curtain of rain, with a pressure of 60 cm of water. With an expenditure of 600 millilitres per minute, the curtain of rain covers a surface area of 154 cm2 at a distance of 5 cm, and opens up to a diameter of 14 cm. The shower head is inadequate for expenditures of more than 600 millilitres per minute.

A water spraying assembly is provided which includes a central conduit, an impeller, and a mist nozzle having a tapered chamber that decreases in cross-sectional area as it narrows into a nozzle outlet sufficiently small so as to reduce the flowing water's pressure as it is transported down the chamber. The impeller includes blades which form channels for receiving water from the central conduit. Further, these channels produce a vortex, rotating the passing water stream. The impeller is directly adjacent to, upstream and in fluid connection with the entrance of the tapered chamber which tapers inwardly until it reaches its smallest measurement at the nozzle outlet. Consequently, the swirling water and the tapered chamber create a low-pressure environment, thereby increasing the water's velocity and force. Due to the high velocity and the outlet's small opening, water is ejected from the outlet as small droplets in a fine mist spray pattern.

A showerhead assembly is provided which includes a conduit, a gear train and oscillating nozzle chamber. The gear train includes a propeller, toothed pinion, and large toothed gear. Water flows from the conduit into an internal chamber within the showerhead housing. Specifically, water enters the propeller thereby causing it to rotate, the rotation of which causes the pinion to rotate, and consequently, the large gear to revolve. Additionally, a pin seated on the large gear engages with the pin slot located on the nozzle chamber and causes the chamber to pivot, thereby restricting chamber movement as the pin oscillates with rotation of the large gear. Further, the chamber's horizontal movement is hindered by two shoulder arms. As water exits the large gear, it travels through the left shoulder arm's central channel and into the oscillating chamber, whereby it expels through the nozzle outlet in a reciprocating spray pattern.

A fail-safe water saving shower enclosure system includes a showerhead, shower faucet, power adapter, an active infrared sensor, electromagnetic activated fluid valve and shower walls. The infrared sensor installed on one shower wall aims at the opposite shower wall that has the showerhead. The enclosure is electronically partitioned into a restrictive flow zone and free flow zones. When a bather is not present within the restrictive flow zone, the showerhead flows at a free flow rate set at the shower faucet. When the bather does not need water, he simply moves towards the restrictive flow zone. The sensor signals the normally open electromagnetic valve to shut off water from reaching the showerhead. The free flow of water resumes when the bather moves towards the showerhead. The showerhead always receives a full flow of water without the presence of a bather, despite a failure of the disclosed components or power loss.
