A curable epoxy resin composition according to the present invention is a curable epoxy resin composition which includes a rubber-particle-dispersed epoxy compound (A) including an alicyclic epoxy compound and, dispersed therein, rubber particles. According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a cold seal adhesive material is disclosed. The cold seal adhesive material includes a latex emulsion comprising between 15 to 65 percent of the adhesive by weight and ammoniated water. The adhesive viscosity is between 10 and 450 centipoise at 25 degrees Celsius, the density is between 8.0 and 9.0 pounds per gallon at 25 degrees Celsius, and the basicity is between 9.5 and 12 pH. The adhesive is adapted to be applied as a film on a substrate by a modified flexographic printing press process at a rate of at least 1,750 square feet per minute of the substrate without agglomeration of the adhesive, where the film has a film weight between 0.01 and 0.04 grams per square inch of the substrate and must be compressed with a sealing pressure to produce a cohesive bond between two or more adhesive regions. 1. Fluid activatable adhesive compositions and activating fluid(s) for activating the adhesive composition are described herein. The adhesive compositions contain at least two polymers with different hydrophilicities. The hydrophilic polymer has quick tack when exposed to a hydrophilic solvent, such as water or other aqueous solvent, while the hydrophobic polymer provides strong adhesion to a paper or polymeric substrate. The adhesive composition may contain particulate fillers which enable fast exhaustion of the activation fluid out of the adhesive when applied to a substrate, thereby allowing the hydrophobic polymers of the adhesive composition to achieve strong adhesion of the liner-free label to the paper or polymeric substrate. The particulate fillers may also function as anti-blocking agents when liner-free label media are tightly wound in a roll. The adhesive compositions described herein may be used not only on paper, cardboard, and metal, but also on glass and plastics commonly used in commercial applications. 1. Since no environmentally acceptable gases exist that can be used in aerosol sealant/inflator products, a combination has been selected which is far less intrinsically flammable than the very commonly used propane/butane (LP-gas) propellants.

Pref the elastomer and active silicic acid are masticated together then the adhesive resin and a solvent are worked in to form a spreadable adhesive compn. which is applied to the support optionally part of the solvent is removed at room temp., then the mixt. is heated and remaining solvent removed. The prod. is a solvent- and heat-resistant, self-adhesive film. Suitable elastomers are natural rubber, artificial rubbers, e.g. butadiene-styrene copolymers, butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymers, polychlorobutadiene, butyl rubber, polybutadiene or poly-1, 4-cis-isoprene. The resole is used on alkyl phenols of 1-12C, and/or aryl phenols, optionally together with phenol. The adhesive resin may be colophony, polyterpene resins, terpenephenol resins, or hydrocarbon resins obtd. from olefinically unsatd. monomers. The phenol resin comprises 5-50 wt. %, the adhesive resin 10 to 300 wt. %., and the silicic acid 5 to 150 wt. %., w.r.t. the amt. of elastomer. The support may be a foil or fabric of PVC, polyester, esp. terephthalic acid polyester, or cotton.

본 발명은 전자부품용 액상 접착제 및 이를 이용하여 리드프레임에 도포하는 방법에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 접착력이 우수하고 반도체 장치의 리드프레임 주변의 부품간이나 기타 전자부품들의 접착시 충분한 내열성 및 신뢰성을 가지며 경시안정성이 우수하고 작업성 또한 우수한 전자부품용 액상 접착제 및 이를 이용하여 리드프레임에 도포하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 이를 위해 본 발명에 따른 전자부품용 액상 접착제는 열경화성 수지, 열가소성 수지 및 경화제를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하고, 바람직하게는 상기 열가소성 수지는 카르복실기를 포함하는 NBR로서, 1~20 중량%의 카르복실기를 포함하고, 중량 평균분자량이 10,000~300,000인 것을 특징으로 하며, 또한 전자부품용 액상 접착제를 이용하여 리드프레임에 도포하는 방법은 상기 전자부품용 액상 접착제를 사용하여 디스펜스법 또는 잉크젯법으로 리드프레임에 도포하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 액상 접착제, 리드프레임, 열경화성 수지, 열가소성 수지, 경화제.
