According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a cold seal adhesive material is disclosed. The cold seal adhesive material includes a latex emulsion comprising between 15 to 65 percent of the adhesive by weight and ammoniated water. The adhesive viscosity is between 10 and 450 centipoise at 25 degrees Celsius, the density is between 8.0 and 9.0 pounds per gallon at 25 degrees Celsius, and the basicity is between 9.5 and 12 pH. The adhesive is adapted to be applied as a film on a substrate by a modified flexographic printing press process at a rate of at least 1,750 square feet per minute of the substrate without agglomeration of the adhesive, where the film has a film weight between 0.01 and 0.04 grams per square inch of the substrate and must be compressed with a sealing pressure to produce a cohesive bond between two or more adhesive regions. 1. The article of manufacture of claim 1 , wherein the elastomeric rubber component or the second rubber component is uncured.3. 본 발명은 차량용 천연가죽을 위한 접착제 조성물 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 용기에 물을 넣어 가열하고, 물이 가열에 의해 최초 끓는점 이상의 온도로 올라가서 끓기 시작하면 가열 온도를 70℃ 내지 90℃로 낮춘 후 천연 타르 용액을 상기 용기에 넣고 계속해서 가열하며, 계속된 가열에 의해 상기 천연 타르 용액이 물에 섞여 퍼질 때에 천연 라텍스 용액을 상기 용기에 투입하여 상기 물, 상기 천연 타르 용액 및 상기 천연 라텍스 용액으로 구성된 배합물을 만들고, 상기 배합물을 중탕하여 응고형 접착성분을 만든 후 응고형 접착성분을 상온에서 식혀 반 응고형 배합물인 접착제 조성물을 만든다. The rubber is chosen from cis-1,4-polyisoprene, cis-1,4-polybutadiene, butyl rubber, EPDM 1,3-butadiene/-styrene copolymer prepd. in aq. emulsion, and an A-B-A type unvulcanised block copolymer elastomer where A is non-elastomeric polystyrene block of mol. wt. 2,000-100,000 and Tg >25 degrees C and forms 10-50 wt.% of the copolymer, and B is 1,3-butadiene or isoprene elastomeric copolymer block of mol. wt. 25,000-1,000,000 and Tg 10 degrees C, the block copolymer have a tensile strength >14 kg./cm2.

A process for preparing an aqueous adhesive composition which comprises preparing a solvent dispersion by mixing rubber, carbon black, vulcanizing agent, tackifying resin and accelerator with sufficient organic solvent to form a solvent dispersion and thereafter emulsifying the solvent dispersion in the presence of water to form an aqueous emulsion. The aqueous emulsion may be used to bond unvulcanized rubber compounds, such as a tread stock to the carcass portion during the formation of a tire.
