A foamable adhesive system is provided which can achieve necessary adhesion to an oily surface and which is not tacky to the touch once applied to the surface and has a melt viscosity in the bake phase high enough to retain its shape and adhesion to the substrate and in addition a melt viscosity sufficiently high to retain gas bubbles formed by the decomposition of the blowing agent and which also retains its shape and structure once formed by use of a polymer system containing a thixotropic filler and a two compartment (component) cross linking system. 1. A hot melt adhesive formulation comprising(i) one or more solid polymers;(ii) a thixotropic filler;(iii) a blowing agent system; and(iv) a cross linking system comprising:a first cross linking agent having an activation temperature within a bake phase temperature range to increase the melt viscosity of the adhesive to control the viscosity of the melted formulation at a temperature below an activation temperature of the blowing agent system and a second cross linking agent with an activation temperature within the range of a foaming temperature.2. A formulation according to in which the first cross linking agent has an activation temperature in the range 80° C. to 150° C.3. A formulation according to claim 1 , wherein the second cross linking agent has an activation temperature in the range of 130° C. to 220° C.4. A formulation according to claim 1 , wherein the one or more solid polymers are copolymers of ethylene and unsaturated esters such as vinyl esters and alkyl acrylates.5. In addition, provided is a method of preparing an adhesive composition including mixing lysine, itaconic acid, and water to thereby form a mixture of the lysine, the citric acid, and the water, and stirring the mixture at a temperature of 80° C. or less, wherein amounts of the lysine, the itaconic acid, and the water are adjusted such that precipitates of the lysine and the itaconic acid do not form in the adhesive composition. 1. An adhesive composition comprising lysine , itaconic acid , and water ,wherein the lysine and the itaconic acid are present in the form of an aqueous solution of a salt and do not form precipitates in the aqueous solution.2. The adhesive composition of claim 1 , wherein the precipitates are precipitates of the lysine and the itaconic acid.3. The adhesive composition of claim 1 , wherein a mixing molar ratio of the lysine to the itaconic acid is adjusted such that precipitates of the lysine and the itaconic acid are not formed in the adhesive composition.4. The adhesive composition of claim 3 , wherein the mixing molar ratio of the lysine to the itaconic acid is from 2.3:1 to 1:1.5.5. The adhesive composition of claim 1 , wherein a solid content of the adhesive composition is equal to or less than 70 parts by weight based on a total weight of the adhesive composition.6. The present disclosure is concerned with improved curable adhesive compositions for anchoring elements in a structural body that exhibit low temperature versus standard temperature degree of cures that are at least 50% or higher. The compositions include, in a first portion, a reactive resin, an acetoacetoxy functional monomer and a silane monomer. By using phthalate-free constituents in the formulation, a further 10% increase in strength and durability of the resins at standard temperatures may be realized after curing at low temperatures. Improvements in the adhesive compositions that relate to increased shelf life are also presented. 1. An improved curable adhesive composition , comprising:a. at least one reactive resin comprising a polymerizable monomer;b. at least one acetoacetoxy functional monomer;c. at least one silane monomer;d. a free radical initiator; ande. an accelerant;in which the free radical initiator comprises dibenzoyl peroxide and at least one additional component selected from among anti-oxidants, stabilizers, non-reactive diluents, plasticizers, and combinations of any of the foregoing; and the accelerant is selected from the group consisting of N,N-diisopropanol-p-toluidine, N,N-dihydroxyethyl-p-toluidine, N,N-methylhydroxyethyl-p-toluidine, and mixtures thereof.2.
