Blow molded plastic structures are provided for use in various structures such as, but not limited to, tables (10), chairs, walls, backboards (250), storage bins, sports equipment and the like. A friction fit clip fastening system that creates a firm and invisible connection between panels or substrates without the use of tools or glue, comprising a fastener and mating rout. Connectors used in modular furniture system

A connector for connecting two furniture modules or other stationary objects to form a modular system. The connector includes two hardware pieces, to be mounted onto two furniture modules, respectively. The first piece fits into the second piece in a loading/unloading position, and then moves to a locked position where prongs of the first piece are dovetailed with slots of the second piece. A detent on one hardware piece and a track in the other hardware piece are provided to help the first piece stay in the locked position, but to allow the first piece to move out of the locked position into the loading/unloading position when sufficient force is applied. A furniture unit formed by joining multiple modules using the connector can safely withstand reasonable outside forces in various directions without shifting or separating. The system also allows for easy and intuitive unlocking/dismounting to separate the two modules.

Fastening device for a furniture panel

The present invention relates to a fastening device for fastening to a furniture panel. The fastening device comprises at least two dowels for reception in furniture panel recesses. The dowels are each connected to lateral ends of lever arms. The lever arms are centrally connected to each other at a hinge joint. One dowel may be displaced in relation to the other dowel between a furniture panel fastening position and a furniture panel releasing position of the fastening device. A fastening system for joining furniture parts, comprising the fastening device, is also disclosed. A method for using the fastening system is described as well as furniture assemblies using the system.
