От обеих металлических пластин корпуса отступает проушина, имеющая удлиненное запорное отверстие переменной ширины. На концах натяжной скобы, выполненной из проволоки из нержавеющей стали, расположены утолщенные секции, которые проходят сквозь запорные отверстия только в их более широком конце. Собственное напряжение натяжной скобы прижимает ветви скобы к проушинам. A mounting bracket is generally sandwiched between the open back junction box and the plaster ring for mounting to framing members at the construction site. A protective sheath device for use in protecting lead wire cables from contamination during use in a hospital or other medical setting is described. A glove-like component having fingers, with each finger intended to protect one lead wire, is placed on a base or mounting piece. The base has extensions that fit within the fingers, and the fingers are gathered to reduce their length. This facilitates placement of a lead wire cable within each finger. Once the cables are placed within the fingers of the glove-like component, the base can be discarded and the terminal heads of the lead wire cables are grasped and pulled to extend the fingers of the glove-like component and to protect a length of the lead wire cables. If the base is a mounting piece, it is preferably retained for later uses and is made of a material such as rubber or plastic that can be sanitized and reused. The lead wire cable heads can be snapped directly onto sensor pads and will function through the material of the glove-like component, which is preferably a plastic. After use, the glove-like component is discarded and the lead wire cables and heads remain uncontaminated.

A system and method for installing a fiber or cable on a wall or ceiling of a structure includes providing a fiber, wire or cable pre-coated with a hot melt adhesive that simply needs to be activated by the application of sufficient heat for a sufficient amount of time immediately before installation. Rolls or cartridges of wire or cable pre-coated with the hot melt adhesive are provided. The hot melt adhesive coated wire or cable is fed through a heated chamber, preferably a tip on a portable heating device such as a battery operated soldering iron, which activates the pre-coated hot melt adhesive prior to utilizing the heating tip to apply pressure to the adhesive wire directly to a wall or ceiling thereby adhering the fiber, wire or cable to the desired surface. 1. A method of installing a hot-melt adhesive coated cable to a surface , comprising:providing a length of cable pre-coated with a hot-melt adhesive;providing a heating device, configured for heating said cable pre-coated with hot melt adhesive with sufficient heat to cause said hot-melt adhesive to become softened and adhere to a surface; andapplying sufficient pressure to said adhesive softened cable pre-coated with a hot-melt adhesive to adhere said cable to said surface.2. The method of claim 1 , wherein said cable has a diameter of between 0.9 and 1.9 mm.3. The method of claim 2 , wherein said hot-melt adhesive is applied to said cable in a thickness of between 300 and 400 μ.4.
