A process for the manufacture of non-gelatinising synthetic resin solution
Реферат: Stable, non-gelatinizing aqueous solutions of condensation products of aminodiazines or aminotriazines with aldehydes are prepared by adding to the aqueous solutions before, during or after condensation, small quantities of such water-soluble alkali salts of weak organic acids as from 1 per cent aqueous solutions having a pH value less than 10. The solutions may be used as adhesives or in the manufacture of moulded articles. In examples: (1) melamine is condensed with aqueous formaldehyde in the presence of sodium acetate; (2) a mixture of melamine and urea is partially condensed with aqueous formaldehyde, sodium acetate added, and the mixture partially evaporated; (3) a mixture of melamine, melam, melem and mellon (obtained by heating ammonium thiocyanate) is heated with paraformaldehyde, sodium acetate and water.
