Реферат: 931,198. Gear-Chamfering. H. HURTH, and F. HURTH. Jan. 3, 1961 [Nov. 22, 1960], No. 198/61. Class 83 (3). Means for chamfering gear teeth comprises several adjustable tool-spindles 23, 24, Fig. 5, with a common drive 13. The means is fitted to a machine having drive means 12, Fig. 3, for rotating and reciprocating the spindle 13 and a work-head 14 for rotating or indexing a workpiece which is held by a manual, hydraulic or electric device 15. The work-head is carried on slides 16, 17, a further slide being provided, if desired, for horizontal movement at rightangles to the slide 16. A drive shaft 38, Fig. 5, is secured in the spindle 13 to rotate the spindles 23, 24, the latter being carried in an eccentric sleeve 28 which can be adjusted against a graduated scale to vary the spacing of the spindles and clamped by a wedge 30. Both spindles are rotated by an internally-, and externally-, toothed gear 37. The casing 27 surrounding the drive gears may be adjusted angularly by rotating a collar 26 to vary the plane containing the tool axes. In a modification, the spindle 13, Fig. 7, rotates a shaft 52 driving several gears 54, each connected to a cutter 59 by a flexible shaft 56. Each spindle is carried in a housing 60 which is angularly adjustable in a laterally adjustable slide 61. In a further modification, each housing 60 may contain two spindles.
