Seal arrangement for piston rod bearing - has lubricating oil on rod removed during return storke of working piston
Реферат: The seal arrangement is for use in a 2-stroke IC engine. This has two opposing cylinders and pistons, with rods connected via a slider crank drive. The cylinders have a lower end wall, serving as bearing for the piston rods, and formed as bearing hubs. There is a ring piston-shaped oil chamber sleeve (12) near the bearing hub (10), and a ring cylinder (13), fixed to the piston rod (4), and partly engaging over the sleeve during a working stroke. The sleeve has a stripper ring (12a), engaging on the piston rod, on the side of the crank drive housing, and ring piston part (12b) on the cylinder side, which projects into a precompression chamber of the cylinder, thereby forming a ring gap (14. A recess (15) is formed between the two parts, with an outer ring edge (17), serving as stripper element for oil adhering to the piston rod.
