The present invention relates to a pharmaceutically stable aqueous ophthalmic formulation comprising oxymetazoline hydrochloride and its preparation process. Said formulation is stable for a period of at least 24 months, at 25°C and 40% relative humidity; also relates methods for treating various eye disorders related to droopy eyelids, such as ptosis, or related conditions.
