The layers may be joined by an epoxy resin or polyurethane adhesive for which methylene chloride is the vehicle liquid. The bimetallic layers may be formed by electrodeposition. A surface layer of light-sensitive material such as a quinone-diazide material, a dichromated glum arabic, dichromated PVA or diazo-sensitized PVA may be used for the image production on the plate.
