Suspenders for articles of dress.- One or more ordinary dressholders or clips are perm anently or, preferably, detachably combined with a lady's chÔtelaine bag, reticule, satchel, or the like. In the form shown in sectional view in Fig. 2, a chÔtelaine bag a is connected as usual by straps b to a hook c for attachment to a waist-belt, and a dress-holder d is connected by means of a strap or chain e and a loop d' to the hook c, which is provided with a spring plate or snap c<1>. In a modification, the dress-holder is connected to a loop of the chÔtelaine hook by means of a strap and an ordinary swivel. Two or more dress-holders may be connected by means of bifurcated or othershaped straps.
