A cone type twin screw type extruder comprising;
two rotator shafts (1) disposed such that two of their ends generally converge; gear wheel (14) mounted on each of said rotator shafts (1);
reduction gear system (4) connected to each of said rotator shafts (1) through said gear wheels (14) mounted on said rotator shafts (1);
high speed shaft (5) connected to each of said reduction gear systems (4) and arranged axially parallel to each of said rotator shafts (1);
connecting shaft (25);
gear systems (15) for transmitting drive through an angle connected between said high speed shafts (5) and said connecting shaft (25);
drive unit (27) connected to either of said high speed shafts (5).
