LPB electrolyte compositions based on mixtures of polymers

A polyelectrolyte composition used for an LPB (lithium polyelectrolyte battery) type lithium electrochemical current generator. A mixture of a high-polymer component and a low-polymer component, as used recently for the LPB batteries, is subjected to multi-dimensional cross-linking by irradiation more efficiently and quickly. Therefore, a thinner electrolyte film having preferable mechanical properties, which may or may not have an interpenetrating polymer network, can be obtained while maintaining its adhesion to an electrode and the range of selection in coating technology.
