DOT THRESHOLD VALUE DATA GENERATING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dot threshold value data generating method by which production of tone jump can be avoided and visibility of moire stripe can be lowered in a dot image output device with low output resolution and many numbers of screen lines.

SOLUTION: At least C, M and Y color versions among C, M, Y and K color versions are generated on the basis of dot threshold value data according to a condition of irrational tangent so as to avoid production of a tone jump and set a desired screen angle with high accuracy, then production of the moire stripes can be suppressed to the utmost in the case of superimposing the C, M, Y and K color versions.
