The lawn module for the construction of a removable lawn comprises a perforated tray having a bottom (4) and an edge (5). The tray supports a drainage layer, a substratum layer and earth (8) in which the grass (9) is planted. The perforated tray comprises a device for drawing and pushing the lawn module onto the fork of a fork lift truck. This consists of a downwards open groove (10) at the level of the tray bottom periphery. The groove has a first external vertical segment (11), a horizontal bottom (12) and a second segment (13) inclined towards the tray centre.
