The present invention relates to a microelement organic O-chelate or N-chelate complex compound, for the inhibition of facultative pathogenic bacteria. The present invention further relates to a composition, feed additive or feed comprising the compounds, as well as methods for the preparation thereof, and for the use thereof in animal stock farming. 1.
