A distal end portion of a medical device may comprise an image capturing component; a light source; and an encapsulation having inner surfaces contacting and at least partially encompassing the image capturing component and the light source. A shape of the inner surfaces may be mirror image of a shape of exterior surfaces of the image capturing component and the light source that are contacted by the inner surfaces. 1. A distal end portion of a medical device comprising:an image capturing component;a light source; andan encapsulation having inner surfaces contacting and at least partially encompassing the image capturing component and the light source, wherein a shape of the inner surfaces is a mirror image of a shape of exterior surfaces of the image capturing component and the light source that are contacted by the inner surfaces.2. The distal end portion of claim 1 , wherein the encapsulation forms a liquid tight shell.3. The distal end portion of claim 1 , wherein the encapsulation includes at least one of a lens claim 1 , a prism claim 1 , an aperture claim 1 , a filter claim 1 , a diffuser claim 1 , a dispersing light feature claim 1 , a mirror claim 1 , a window claim 1 , a grating claim 1 , or a collimating light feature claim 1 , or combinations thereof.4. The distal end portion of claim 1 , wherein the encapsulation includes at least one of a fulcrum claim 1 , a wedge claim 1 , a cam claim 1 , a pin claim 1 , a notch claim 1 , a piston claim 1 , a cylinder claim 1 , a gear claim 1 , a rack claim 1 , a pulley claim 1 , a socket claim 1 , or a block and tackle claim 1 , or combinations thereof.5. The distal end portion of claim 1 , further comprising a circuit board claim 1 , wherein the inner surfaces of the encapsulation contact and at least partially encompass the circuit board claim 1 , wherein a shape of the inner surfaces is a mirror image of a shape of exterior surfaces of the circuit board.6.
