Methods and systems are provided for detecting and mitigating the presence of liquid fuel carryover in an evap system of a vehicle in response to a refueling event. In one example, during a first condition, a vacuum pump is activated to pressurize the fuel system responsive to a first fuel tank pressure decay rate being less than a threshold, and responsive to a second fuel tank pressure decay rate being greater than a threshold, the vacuum pump is maintained on until a fuel tank pressure decreases to atmospheric pressure. In this way, liquid fuel carryover can be quickly and accurately diagnosed, such that mitigating actions may be taken to ensure liquid fuel is returned to the tank prior to contacting the adsorbent material within the vapor canister. 1. A method for a fuel system , comprising:during a first condition, activating a vacuum pump to pressurize the fuel system responsive to a first fuel tank pressure decay rate being less than a threshold; andresponsive to a second fuel tank pressure decay rate being greater than a threshold, maintaining the vacuum pump on until a fuel tank pressure decreases to atmospheric pressure.2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the first condition includes a fuel tank isolation valve in an open conformation.3. The method of claim 2 , wherein the fuel tank isolation valve was opened prior to a recently completed refueling event.4. The method of claim 3 , further comprising:responsive to a second fuel tank pressure decay rate being greater than a threshold, determining whether the recently completed refueling event included an automatic shutoff of a refueling dispenser; andresponsive to determining that the recently completed refueling event did not include an automatic shutoff of a refueling dispenser, indicating to perform one or more on-board tests to determine the integrity of the fuel system.5. A draining system for draining fuel from a fuel tank is disclosed. The fuel tank includes a holding chamber for holding fuel and a fill port assembly for adding fuel to the holding chamber. The fill port assembly includes a fill port passageway in fluid communication with the holding chamber and a valve system for regulating a flow of fuel through the fill port passageway. The draining system includes a coupling member having a drainage passageway. The coupling member is detachably connected with the fill port assembly. In one example, an electric motor is operated to spin a vehicle engine unfueled in reverse in order to pressurize the evaporative emissions system and the fuel system responsive to an indication of liquid fuel in the vapor recovery lines. In this way, indication of liquid fuel carryover following a refueling event may be quickly diagnosed, and mitigating actions may be taken to ensure liquid fuel is returned to the tank prior to contacting the adsorbent material within the vapor canister. 1. A method comprising:during refueling a tank which supplies fuel to a combustion engine, venting the tank to atmosphere through a vapor storage system; andafter refueling and when pressure decay in the tank is less than a threshold, sealing the vapor storage system from atmosphere and running the engine un-fueled in reverse to force air from an intake manifold of the engine through the vapor storage system into the tank.2. The method of claim 1 , wherein pressure decay in the tank after refueling comprises a first pressure decay rate claim 1 , and wherein pressure decay in the tank while running the engine in reverse comprises a second pressure decay rate; and further comprising continuing to run the engine in reverse until pressure in the tank decreases to atmospheric pressure when the second pressure decay rate is greater than another threshold.3. The fuel control module is disposed along the flow path and configured to regulate a flow of natural gas to the engine. The accumulator is disposed along the flow path downstream of the fuel control module. The accumulator is configured to buffer variations in the flow of natural gas such that the engine receives a consistent flow of natural gas.
