A gate hinge for a preferably wooden post which includes an L-shaped rod threaded on one leg with a metal strap rigidly connected to the threaded leg at about one and one half inches from the elbow of the rod on the threaded leg. The metal strap extends six or so inches form each side of the L-shaped rod with two or more holes near each end of the strap. The L-shaped rod is threaded into the post until the metal strap contacts the post. Then each leg of the metal bracket is bent around the post and screws or lag bolts are threaded through the holes and into the post to help secure the hinge to the post and to provide added support for the gate.

A sleeve for use in an assembly for coupling a wristworn device to a first end of a strap. The hinge pin comprises a base section, a pair of primary walls, and a pair of opposed projections. The primary walls form a primary slot therebetween for receiving an engagement portion of a first panel therein. This invention relates to a canopy locking and releasing apparatus for mounting a canopy to the fuselage of a vehicle. The canopy locking and releasing apparatus is comprised of several mechanisms. These include internal canopy locking and releasing mechanism, the external (Type A, B, or C) canopy locking and releasing mechanisms, a hinge plate and base mechanism, a hinge retaining pin, and a fuselage locking and releasing device for the hinge base. The apparatus is mounted on the sides of a canopy and attached to the cockpit of a vehicle. This apparatus allows for quick and easy opening of the canopy for routine or emergent access and driver entry or egress. An unique advantage of the canopy side mount locking and releasing hinge mechanism for vehicles is that the cockpit is easily accessible from either side of the vehicle, from the inside and outside of the vehicle, or if necessary, from both sides of the vehicle at once. Additionally, there is shown an alternative use for the internal locking and releasing mechanism and the retaining pin. 2. A hinge assembly suppressing periodic motions and abrasive wear that supports an axial load and integrated a releasable hinge pin with retractable latch pins. The connector arms for the hinge assembly may include bearings, smooth outer surfaces, and tight fittings to help suppress the periodic motions and abrasive wear. Adjustable mounting apertures reduce stress on the hinge system. A hinge aperture for each member enables an axial load arm, such as thrust bearings, to pass through for reducing periodic movements during pivotal operation. A lock arm can also pass through the hinge apertures. The lock arm uses a locking pin to fasten the members together. A smooth outer surface inhibits abrasive wear and creates a smooth pivoting motion. Non-circular mounting apertures may enable adjustable mounting for reducing stress on the system.

본 발명은 자동차용 패시브 후드 힌지 장치에 관한 것으로서, 스프링과 같이 부피가 큰 부품이나 제어기, 센서, 액츄에이터 등의 고가 부품 없이 간단한 구성을 가지면서 크기와 중량이 축소될 수 있고, 양산성 한계의 문제를 극복할 수 있는 자동차용 패시브 후드 힌지 장치를 제공하는데 주된 목적이 있는 것이다. 상기한 목적을 달성하기 위해, 차체에 고정되고 핀 규제홀이 상하방향으로 길게 형성된 힌지브라켓; 후드에 결합되는 힌지암; 일단부가 힌지암에 회전 가능하게 결합되고 타단부가 힌지브라켓 측에 회전 가능하게 지지되도록 설치된 하강링크; 일단부가 힌지암에 회전 가능하게 결합되고 타단부가 힌지브라켓에 회전 가능하게 결합된 지지링크; 힌지브라켓에 설치되어 핀 규제홀에 결합되어 있는 하강핀에 상단부가 결합되고 핀 규제홀에서의 하강핀의 하강시 꺾임이 발생하도록 형성된 절곡부를 가지는 절곡레버; 및 하강핀 하측에 설치되고 하강핀이 눌러줌에 따라 변형 가능한 형상을 가지는 완충브라켓을 포함하는 자동차용 패시브 후드 힌지 장치가 개시된다. 본 고안은 도어힌지 연결핀에 관한 것으로, 차체에 고정설치되는 힌지(10)와 도어에 고정설치되는 힌지(12)간에 축회전가능하게 서로 연결시켜주는 힌지 연결핀에 있어서, 내부에 공간부(14)를 형성하고, 원주면(16)의 일부에 톱니형상의 수직 절개부(18)를 구비하여서 된 제1핀(20) 내부에 상기 제1핀(20)보다 길이가 작은 동일형상의 제2핀(22)이 톱니형상의 절개부(24)가 상기 제1핀(20)의 절개부(18)와 대향되도록 밀착삽입된 구조로 되어, 내측에 삽입된 제2핀에 의해 외측 제1핀의 강성 및 탄성한계가 증가하게 되어 영구변형이 생기지 않게 되어 힌지연결핀이 힌지의 연결구멍과 밀착된 상태를 유지하게 해주므로써 도어의 작동성을 원활하게 유지할 뿐 아니라 내구성도 증가하게 되고, 차량의 출발 또는 정지시에 도어힌지로부터 발생되는 소음도 방지하는 효과가 있는 것이다.
