If an absolute deviation greater than a threshold value is ascertained, the time delay is changed or an actuation of another shift element to be disengaged is varied such that the deviation is reduced below the threshold value.

An elapsed time period for completing the gear lash event across the transfer gear set during the transition between the first torque transfer state and the second torque transfer state is set, and a target output speed derived from the wheel speed during and at the end of the elapsed time period is determined. A preferred output speed profile during the gear lash event is also determined, and includes prescribed changes in the output speed associated with phase-shifting the lash angle from a minimum lash angle to a maximum lash angle. The output speed is adjusted to be substantially equal to the target output speed at the end of the elapsed time period. The torque machine is controlled to achieve the preferred output speed profile.

The method includes determining an estimated hydraulic line pressure of the hydraulic control system based upon an input flow and an output flow of hydraulic fluid. The input flow and output flow are regulated with a pressure control device, which is energizable on operator demand. A pressure detection device is fluidly connected to the pressure control device to detect the presence of hydraulic pressure. An override module is applied to the estimated hydraulic line pressure to determine a corrected hydraulic line pressure. The override module sets the corrected hydraulic line pressure to predetermined values based on the operating state indicated by the pressure detection device. The override module corrects for an over-estimation of hydraulic line pressure in operating conditions such as low environmental temperatures.

The system includes a hydraulic pump able to supply pressurized transmission fluid to the automatic transmission, an energy storage device, and at least one motor powered by the energy storage device including a motor that is mechanically connected to the hydraulic pump and a motor that is coupled to the engine. The system also includes a controller that is responsive to one or more operating conditions to turn off the engine when the vehicle is stopped and to use the motor that is mechanically connected to the hydraulic pump so as to activate the pump to supply sufficient power to the transmission to maintain engagement of the transmission in a driving gear. The controller is also responsive to one or more operating conditions to activate the motor that is coupled to the engine so as to restart the engine with the transmission engaged in a driving gear.

Provided is a structure for connecting an engine to a hybrid transmission, the structure including: a connecting unit connected to a rotor shaft at the opposite side and having an edge portion connected to a mass body by a connecting plate; and a drive plate positioned at a side close to a crank shaft so as to be opposite to the connecting unit, the drive plate being configured to connect the mass body and the crank shaft. 1. A structure for connecting an engine to a hybrid transmission , the structure comprising:a connecting unit connected to a rotor shaft at the opposite side and having an edge portion connected to a mass body by a connecting plate; anda drive plate positioned at a side close to a crank shaft so as to be opposite to the connecting unit, the drive plate being configured to connect the mass body and the crank shaft.2. The structure of claim 1 , wherein the connecting unit is a flange claim 1 , and one surface of the flange is connected to one surface of the rotor shaft.3. The structure of claim 2 , wherein a bolt hole is provided in one surface of the flange along a pitch circle that forms a concentric circle with a center of one surface of the flange claim 2 , andwherein the flange and the rotor shaft are connected by a bolt coupled to the bolt hole.4. The structure of claim 3 , wherein splines are provided on one surface of the flange at the periphery of the bolt hole.5. The structure of claim 4 , wherein splines claim 4 , which correspond to the splines of the flange claim 4 , are provided on one surface of the rotor shaft.6. The structure of claim 2 , wherein the crank shaft and a boss provided at a center of the drive plate are connected by a bolt claim 2 , and the edge portion of the drive plate and the mass body are connected by a bolt.7.
