Mechanism for self-alignment of communications elements in a modular electronic system

A mechanism that automatically achieves alignment of the communications elements during assembly of a modular computer system, without the need for human intervention. The mechanism comprises an alignment frame provided with bumps and depressions. The bumps in the alignment frames mate with the depressions on adjacent alignment frames. Each depression comprises an entrance opening that is wider than the diameter of the bumps. The diameter of the entrance opening is determined by the expected accuracy of the alignment of subsystems or bricks within the modular electronic system. When it is desired to align the communication elements, the alignment frames are brought into engagement by causing alignment guides to slide past each other, and to guide the bumps in the alignment frames into the depressions in the adjacent alignment frames. The mechanism further comprises a set of springs that force the allow the alignment frames to be retained securely by the communications elements.

A patch panel (100) mountable to a network rack (500) includes a frame (110) and rack mounting plates (130). The frame (110) forms a central section having a longitudinal width sized to fit within the network rack (500), a predefined height, a front side, and a rear side. The rack mounting plates are provided on opposite longitudinal ends of the central section and allow the panel (100) to be mounted to a network rack (500). The central section is angled outwardly in an inverted V-shape. The central section has mountable thereon a plurality of cable connectors (400) that receive cabling (540) on the front side and the rear side of the patch panel frame (110). When mounted, the plurality of cable connectors (400) are oriented to have rear surfaces thereof face a common axis of the central section. This provides front connector surfaces that are better oriented relative to front side cabling which is provided along vertical cable managers or ducts (530) near front edges of the rack (500) rails. This orientation provides a more natural flow of cables (540) entering the patch panel (100) and reduce bending angles to less than 90°, which reduces or eliminates the need for external horizontal cable management on the front side of the patch panel (100) while maintaining adequate bend radius control. Moreover, the angled frame (110) provides an angled surface that has increased port capacity as compared to a conventional flat-faced patch panel and has an increased volume behind the panel for receiving and housing cabling. A support bar (200) may be provided on the rear side of the patch panel to support the weight of the exiting cabling.

An equipment for discharging of sludge and filtrate in a filtration drying apparatus is provided to collect the entire filtrate into a filtrate collecting tank along channels formed between channel forming plates, smoothly discharge sludge filtered through a conical filter mesh to the outside through a sludge discharge port, and prevent clogging of sieves of the filter mesh or floating of the filter mesh by performing a backflushing operation of the filter mesh. An equipment for discharging of sludge and filtrate in a filtration drying apparatus comprises: a bottom cover(10) which is removably connected to a bottom portion of a body, and which has a sludge discharge port(17) formed in a central bottom portion thereof; a plurality of channel forming plates radially projected from a bottom face within the bottom cover; a plurality of filtrate through-holes formed in the side direction of the sludge discharge port; a filtrate collecting tank(40) installed to cover an outer side of the sludge discharge port in a way that the filtrate collecting tank is in communication with the filtrate through-holes; and a conical filter mesh(50) which is placed on top portions of the channel forming plates, and which has a discharge end part(52) formed on a central bottom portion thereof such that the discharge end part can be inserted into the sludge discharge port. Further, the bottom cover has corn shape and is comprised of double jacket of an inner wall and an outer wall.

The present invention relates to a hard disk employed in an exchanger, and more particularly, to a hard disk memory fixed body assembled to facilitate the mounting and detachment of a hard disk. Conventionally, the hard disk is installed inside the exchanger, so that the withdrawal and storage of the hard disk is inconvenient. However, in the present invention, the hard disk memory 20 is fixed to the fixed body 10, and then the fixed body 10 of the exchanger is fixed. The fixed body 10 is slidably housed and drawn out on the guide rail 31 installed to face up and down on the frame 30. According to the present invention, in installing the hard disk memory used in the exchanger, it is possible to more easily implement the storage and withdrawal of the hard disk memory using a fixed body.
