The present invention provides a material for head lining of a vehicle which can prevent accidents, which may occur due to a permanent deformation phenomenon caused by a base material repeatedly absorbing and discharging moisture or due to an increase in weight, by forming the base material with both sides of a natural fiber layer reinforced with reinforcing layers through which the moisture cannot penetrate to prevent natural fibers from getting wet. Particularly, the head lining of the present invention is formed by adding a synthetic resin together with the natural fibers to the natural fiber layer, so that the structural rigidity of the base material is reinforced to increase the formability and flexural strength of the material. The reinforcing layers are formed by a glass mat and a thermoplastic resin sheet to provide a base material with the structural strength and an adhesive effect without using an adhesive agent to manufacture the head lining of the vehicle.
