The present invention relates to a smoking agent composition for controlling plant diseases using fluxapyroxad and uses thereof. According to the present invention, a smoking agent using fluxapyroxad as an active agent is very effective at controlling gray mold that occurs in crops including strawberries, and particularly, can control diseases other than the target disease, such as downy mildew and blight caused by an increase in humidity in green house facilities that results from performing foliage spray with a pre-existing diluent, and thus effectively overcomes the shortcomings of conventional foliage treatment. Since the smoking agent can be used at nighttime, only requiring a user to ventilate the green house facilities in the morning the next day, the present invention is an economically very useful invention that saves the labor and time required of farmers spraying the diluent. The present invention relates to: a fumigant composition for controlling plant diseases by using fluxapyroxad; and a use thereof. According to the present invention, treatment of crops with a fumigant containing fluxapyroxad as an active ingredient is very effective for controlling Botrytis cinerea disease occurring in strawberries and the like, and particularly, can prevent the occurrence of other disease damage, such as that of downy mildew and epidemics, in addition to disease damage to be caused by an increase in internal greenhouse humidity, which occurs when conventionally foliar-spraying a diluent, thereby effectively overcoming the disadvantage occurring during conventional foliage treatment. In addition, carrying out fumigation treatment at night and only ventilating a greenhouse the next morning is acceptable, such that the labor and the time of a farmer spraying a diluent is saved, and thus the invention is also very economically useful.
