The present invention relates to: a fumigant composition for controlling plant diseases by using fluxapyroxad; and a use thereof. According to the present invention, treatment of crops with a fumigant containing fluxapyroxad as an active ingredient is very effective for controlling Botrytis cinerea disease occurring in strawberries and the like, and particularly, can prevent the occurrence of other disease damage, such as that of downy mildew and epidemics, in addition to disease damage to be caused by an increase in internal greenhouse humidity, which occurs when conventionally foliar-spraying a diluent, thereby effectively overcoming the disadvantage occurring during conventional foliage treatment. In addition, carrying out fumigation treatment at night and only ventilating a greenhouse the next morning is acceptable, such that the labor and the time of a farmer spraying a diluent is saved, and thus the invention is also very economically useful.
