The present invention relates to a training system using a neurofeedback device and video contents for improving functions in developmental disorders, and to a method for the same. The training system of the present invention comprises a neurofeedback device, a video processing device, a display device, and database. The neurofeedback device measures brainwave information of a trainee in real time. The video processing device collects and analyzes the brainwave information measured from the neurofeedback device, and is configured to set a compensated brainwave, a suppressive brainwave, and a threshold value based on a state of brain development of the trainee. The video processing device, according to the set brainwave information, selects video contents appropriate for the age of the trainee, and plays or executes the video contents to be displayed on a display device of the trainee.
