The present invention relates to a highly efficient method for extracting silymarin from Cirsium pendulum, and more particularly, to a method for extracting silymarin with a high yield which includes a step for treating the Cirsium pendulum with an enzyme. According to various embodiments of the present invention, when Cirsium pendulum is treated with a hydrolysis enzyme and then a solvent extraction process is performed, silymarin content in the Cirsium pendulum can be increased.
