Die Erfindung erlaubt unter Gewährleistung der technischen Sicherheit und geringer Inbetriebnahmezeit den Betrieb der autothermen Partialoxidation von zu Brennstaub aufbereiteten Brennstoffen wie Braun- und Steinkohlen, Petrolkokse, feste mahlbare kohlenstoffhaltige Rückstände, aber auch Feststoff-Flüssigkeits-Suspensionen, sogenannte Slurries, mit einem sauerstoffhaltigen Vergasungsmittel bei Betriebsdrücken bis 8 MPa (80 bar). Erfindungsgemäß erfolgt mittels der selektiven Ausführung der sicherheitsgerichteten Überwachung des Vergasungsprozesses nur eine Abschaltung der Hauptbrennstoffzuführung. Durch den Weiterbetrieb des Pilot- und Zündbrenners wird der Reaktor unter Betriebsdruck gehalten und nach Störbeseitigung kann mit dem Pilot- und Zündbrenner die Brennstoffvergasung ohne aufwändiges Setzen und Ziehen eines Startbrenners und der nachfolgenden Bespannung der Reaktoren wieder gestartet werden.

Infolge der induzierten Taumelbewegung des Rundschaftmeißels innerhalb der Spannhülse während des Betriebs kann eine bessere Schmutzaustragung erreicht werden. Ein verbessertes Walzverhalten führt insbesondere zu einem verringerten Verschleiß zwischen Spannhülse und dem Meißelschaft, was sich vorteilhaft hinsichtlich der Standzeit auswirkt.

Ilmenites and/or raw materials contg. Ti, which include 20-40 wt. % Fe, are digested with sulphuric acid to produce a cake (a). The cake (a) is mixed with a soln. (b) in the presence of trivalent Ti ions to obtain a conc. titanyl sulphate soln. (c) Soln. (b) is obtd. by the digestion of a Ti slag (b1). Cake (a) is pref. obtd. by the continuous digestion of the raw materials with H2SO4. Soln. (b) pref. contains by wt. 25-40% total H2SO4 and 30-55% metal sulphates, esp. a soln. also contg. 220-240 g/l TiO2 used to dissolve cake (a) until a concn. of 250-275 g/l TiO2 is obtd. Soln. (b) pref. contains 0.1-4 esp. 1.3-1.6 g/l trivalent Ti ions calculated as TiO2, esp. where the cake (a) and soln. (b) are continuously fed into a holding tank into which a conc. soln. (b2) of a Ti (III)-salt is fed according to the redox potential of the soln. in the tank. Used for treating Ti ores with high iron content for the rapid prodn. of solns. (c) contg. a high yield of TiO2 and with high stability. The min. content of 250 g/l TiO2 in soln. (c) eliminates the need for evapn. of soln. (c), thus saving high energy costs.

A chisel holder system including a base part and a chisel holder. The base part includes a socket wherein the chisel holder with a plug-in insert is introduced. The chisel holder has a bearing surface supported on a supporting surface of the base plate, and the base part has a shoulder connected to the supporting surface. A replacement chamber is formed between the shoulder and a facing end surface of the chisel holder. According to this invention, the supporting surface is placed in the transition region in relation to the shoulder by at least one recess of the shoulder so that the flat-shaped connection between the supporting surface and the shoulder, in the region of the recess, is interrupted in order to optimize the resistance to wear and tear of the base part.

The base part has a shoulder surface, which is located in the vicinity of or near the shank opening and at least partially surrounds the shank opening. A stop surface adjoins the rear region of the shoulder surface in the infeed direction at an angle. The upper part rests on the stop surface by a supporting surface and is held at a distance, at least in sections, from the base part.

The lateral plate (13), which is provided for exchanging alternatively mountable milling tubes (10) of different milling widths and which is situated opposite the input-side lateral plate (12), can be easily detached and defines the null side of the machine (1) against which the face of the milling roll (4) rests in an approximately flush manner. In order to enable a milling that is near the edge, the invention provides that the reduction gear unit (8) is mounted on the input side, and that the reduction gear unit (8) comprises an output element, which is mounted on the interior of the input-side lateral plate (12) and whose outer surface (25) forms a seat for milling tube elements that can be slid thereon from the null side. In addition, the invention provides that the roll base body (14) is coupled to the reduction gear unit (8) via the free face (23) of the output element without preventing the milling tube elements from being slid on.
