Reivindicación 4: Un microorganismo que comprende una variante de GMP sintasa hidrolizante de glutamina en la que el aminoácido correspondiente a la posición 29 en la SEC. ID Núm.: 3 está sustituido con otro aminoácido, o un polinucleótido que codifica la variante. Reivindicación 6: Un procedimiento de producción de un nucleótido de purina, comprendiendo el procedimiento el cultivo del microorganismo de la reivindicación 4 o 5. Reivindicación 8: Una composición para producir un nucleótido de purina, comprendiendo la composición al menos uno de: una variante de GMP sintasa hidrolizante de glutamina en la que el aminoácido correspondiente a la posición 29 en la SEC. ID Núm.: 3 está sustituido con otro aminoácido; un microorganismo que comprende la variante; y un medio en el cual se ha cultivado el microorganismo. Reivindicación 9: Un procedimiento para aumentar la capacidad de producción de nucleótidos de purina de un microorganismo, comprendiendo el procedimiento la modificación del microorganismo para expresar la variante de la reivindicación 1.
