The present invention relates to an improved process for the preparation of 1- (4-fluorobenzyl) -3- (4-isobutoxybenzyl) -1- (1-methylpiperidin-4-yl) urea of formula I known under the generic name pimavanserin. The process is carried out in two steps, by reacting N- (4-fluorobenzyl) -1-methylpiperidin-4-amine with cyanate, the next step is to react the resulting compound from the first step with 1- (4-fluorobenzyl) -1- (1- methylpiperidin-4-yl) urea with 4-isobutoxybenzaldehyde or precursors thereof. Pimavanserin is an inverse agonist of serotonin 5-HT 2A receptor and is currently in phase III tartrate clinical trials for the treatment of psychosis in Parkinson's patients and has the potential to be part of the therapy of other psychotic conditions.

Each ECG signal is detected via one of the sensors and indicates electrical activity of a heart. ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A multisection superconducting cable for carrying alternating current is provided which comprises a heat insulation envelope, a superconductive shield with a stabilizing substrate and an electrical portion for carrying an electrical current and including at least one conductor assembly of two coaxial cores. One of the cores is made tubular and provided with a superconductive layer and a stabilizing substrate. The other core extends inside the tubular core. The stabilizing substrate of each section of the electrical portion and of the shield are formed by local segments of a stabilizing material. The segments are separated by a material of a lower electrical conductivity than the stabilizing material, the resistance of the stabilizing substrates within each section being in excess of the impedance of the electrical portion of this section. Both the cores of the electrical portion are electrically connected at least in the points intended to be used for connection of terminal devices. The inner core is made of a normal metal and the thickness of the stabilizing material of the substrate is not in excess of the effective depth of penetration of alternating current. The proposed cable can find its practical utilization in superconducting transmission systems.

Valuable document comprises a coating in the form of a printed raster that is made up of at least one colour which is different from the colour of the document base. At least a portion of lines of the three-dimensional raster has an asymmetric cross-section profile with an aspect ratio of not less than 1:1.25, as a result of which the latent image becomes visible in the form of coloured elements or a single-colour region when the viewing angle changes. Changing the viewing direction by 180 degrees without any change in the viewing angle results in a change in the optical density or colour gamut of at least a part of the latent image. The invention enhances the counterfeit protection of a valuable document with an optically variable image and makes it possible for an untrained user to carry out a visual authenticity check.
