A reverse power connection preventing circuit includes a diode and an actuation unit that are connected in series between a positive input terminal and a negative input terminal of a circuit breaker. A positive electrode of the diode points to the negative input terminal of the circuit breaker, and a negative electrode of the diode points to the positive input terminal of the circuit breaker. When a power supply is forward connected to the circuit breaker, the diode is cut off, there is no current on the actuation unit, and the reverse power connection preventing circuit is in a power-off state. A pluggable module is provided, relating to the field of communications device technologies. The pluggable module includes a power control unit (1), an interface unit (2), a monitoring unit (3), and a signal linkage unit (4). The power control unit (1) is connected to the interface unit (2), and the pluggable module can be inserted into an external device by using the interface unit (2). One end of a pull ring (42) is rotatably connected to a bracket (41), and the other end can trigger a signal switch (44). When the pull ring (42) is in an ON state, the signal switch (44) is triggered to send a first switch signal, or when the pull ring (42) is in an OFF state, the signal switch (44) sends a second switch signal. The monitoring unit (3) is configured to control, upon receiving the first switch signal, the power control unit (1) to be powered on, or control, upon receiving the second switch signal, the power control unit (1) to be powered off. In this way, the pluggable module can implement power-on or power-off of the power control unit (1) based on the first switch signal or the second switch signal, thereby implementing hot plugging prevention protection for the pluggable module.
