Light extraction features direct light from the optical sheet in a generally forward direction. Such an array is useful for several applications, including space lighting, direct information display and backlighting of liquid crystal displays. The light spreading effect of the optical sheet reduces the amount of black space between LED pixels.

A supplemental supply line selectively provides pressurized oil into the eductor. The solenoid valve is movable between a first position and a second position. The solenoid valve supplies a fluid signal that allows pressurized oil to flow from the supplemental supply line and into the eductor when the solenoid valve is in the first position to increase the volume of oil flowing from a sump of the engine into the rotary pump. When the solenoid valve does not supply a fluid signal, pressurized oil is prevented from entering the eductor and the volume of oil flowing from the sump and through the eductor to the rotary pump is not increased.

Finishing system for a 3D printed object involves applying a film to an outer surface of the object in order to hide surface artifacts associated with the 3D printing process that created the object. 1. A method of modifying a surface of a three dimension printed object made by sequential 3D layer buildup and having at least a first surface , the method comprising:applying a stretchable adhesive-backed film to the first surface of a three dimension printed object having step-type printing artifacts, wherein the adhesive backed film comprises a substrate having a first major surface and a second major surface, and wherein the second major surface has an adhesive layer disposed thereon;wherein applying comprises stretching the area of the adhesive-backed film, and pressing the area onto an area of the first surface;and wherein the step-type printing artifacts associated with the area of the first surface are substantially undetectable after the applying step.2. The method of claim 1 , wherein applying further comprises brining the adhesive layer into intimate contact with the first surface.3. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:pretreating the first surface before applying the adhesive-backed film.4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the adhesive layer comprises a pressure sensitive adhesive.5. The method of claim 1 , wherein applying further comprises applying heat to the area of the adhesive backed film claim 1 , and wherein pressing the area comprises pressing the heated area of the adhesive backed film.6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the stretchable adhesive-backed film is a compliant film.7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the adhesive layer is a continuous adhesive layer.8. The light source emits light having a first optical characteristic. The emissive material emits light having a second optical characteristic when illuminated with light having the first optical characteristic. The interference reflector substantially transmits light having the second optical characteristic and substantially reflects light having the first optical characteristic.

The temporal sequence of images are conditioned before being displayed in order to reduce perceived displayed image crosstalk between the first and second image views. The conditioning includes modifying a color intensity of at least selected pixels along the horizontal dimension based on a non-constant crosstalk correction function for the horizontal dimension.

Vorrichtung für ein Vorderradantriebsgetriebe in einem Fahrzeug, wobei die Vorrichtung umfasst:ein erstes Antriebsaggregat (12);eine erste Antriebswelle (36), die durch das erste Antriebsaggregat (12) drehbar ist;ein zweites Antriebsaggregat (62);eine zweite Antriebswelle (74), die durch das zweite Antriebsaggregat (62) drehbar ist; undeine hydraulische Pumpe (50) mit einem Rotor, der eine Drehachse definiert, die zur ersten Antriebswelle (36) und zur zweiten Antriebswelle (74) parallel und von diesen beabstandet ist, wobei der Rotor mit der ersten Antriebswelle (36) und der zweiten Antriebswelle (74) jeweils wahlweise in Eingriff ist, um Drehmoment zwischen dem Rotor und dem ersten Antriebsaggregat (12) oder dem zweiten Antriebsaggregat (62) zu übertragen;einen ersten Zahnradsatz, der ein erstes Zahnrad (48), das an der ersten Antriebswelle (36) angeordnet ist, und ein zweites Zahnrad (64) umfasst; undzweiten Zahnradsatz, der ein erstes Zahnrad (72), das an der zweiten Antriebswelle (74) angeordnet ist, und ein zweites Zahnrad (66) umfasst;dadurch gekennzeichnet , dassdas zweite Zahnrad (64) des ersten Zahnradsatzes mit dem Rotor der hydraulischen Pumpe (50) drehfest verbunden ist und mit dem ersten Zahnrad (48) des ersten Zahnradsatzes kämmt; und dassdas zweite Zahnrad (66) des zweiten Zahnradsatzes mit dem Rotor der hydraulischen Pumpe drehfest verbunden ist und mit dem ersten Zahnrad (72) des zweiten Zahnradsatzes kämmt.

Die Rotationspumpe ist dazu konfiguriert, eine Ölströmung zu erzeugen. Eine zusätzliche Zufuhrleitung liefert selektiv Drucköl in den Ejektor. Das Solenoidventil ist zwischen einer ersten Position und einer zweiten Position beweglich. Das Solenoidventil liefert ein Fluidsignal, das ermöglicht, dass Drucköl von der zusätzlichen Zufuhrleitung und in den Ejektor strömt, wenn sich das Solenoidventil in der ersten Position befindet, um das Volumen des Öls, das von einem Sumpf des Motors in die Rotationspumpe strömt, zu erhöhen. Wenn das Solenoidventil kein Fluidsignal liefert, wird verhindert, dass Drucköl in den Ejektor eintritt, und das Volumen des Öls, das vom Sumpf und durch den Ejektor zur Rotationspumpe strömt, wird nicht erhöht.
