Es wird ein Verfahren zum Test von Materialbibliotheken, insbesondere von Katalysatoren, mittels gekoppelter Anwendung von mindestens 2 Analysenmethoden, bevorzugt IR-Thermographie und Massenspektrometrie offenbart. Aufgrund der gewählten Anordnung werden die Nachteile der beiden schon bekannten Einzelmethoden kompensiert: Die nachfolgende Selektivitätsbestimmung für ausgewählte Abschnitte mittels Massenspektrometrie entkräftet das Argument gegen die IR-Thermographie, nur Aktivitäten bestimmen zu können; die schnelle, integrale Ermittlung von potentiell "guten" Materialien über IR-Thermographie verhindert einen übermäßigen Zeitverlust, alle Materialien einer Bibliothek nacheinander mit dem Massenspektrometer testen zu müssen. DOLLAR A Das Reaktordesign erlaubt einerseits die integrale Aufnahme des gesamten Reaktors durch ein für die entsprechende Methode durchlässiges Fenster und andererseits die simultane, automatisierte Anwendung einer zweiten Analysenmethode (z. B. Massenspektrometrie) auf ausgewählte, durch die optische Methode als aktiv bewertete Materialien einer Materialbibliothek. Im beschriebenen Fall liefert die optische Methode Aussagen über die Materialaktivität für ein gestelltes Problem, die zweite Analysenmethode bestimmt die Selektivität der Materialien.

The present invention provides a process for the homogeneous mixing of a finely dispersed solid phase with a fluid in a vessel (12), whereby a means (11) for mixing the solid phase (13) is moveably arranged in the vessel (12) and whereby the diameter of the means (11) is 70-99% of the inner diameter of the vessel (12). Further, the present invention comprises an array, which comprises a plurality of devices according to the invention for the parallel homogeneous mixing of a plurality of solid phases with the same or different fluids.
