OIL DISPERSIONS OF nAChR BINDING NEONICOTINOIDS

Номер: US20120004104A1
Принадлежит: GAT Microencapsulation AG

Selective insect neonicotinoids is a class of pesticide active ingredients that share some characteristics in their chemical structures and bind to the nAChR acetylcholine receptors. Formulation of such compounds in oil suspension or oil dispersion is challenging due to their electrostatic interactions of the heteroatoms in oily media, that lead to irreversible flocculation or diminished homogeneicity and bleeding of such oil dispersions. Imidacloprid, Thiamethoxam, Thiachloprid, Nitenpyram, Acetamiprid, Clothianidin and Dinetofuran and derivatives thereof with nAChR binding ability are successfully formulated in oil suspension with the use of certain copolymeric anionic fatty-acid based dispersants, sorbitan derivatives, ionic surfactants, other non-ionic surfactants and inorganic polyvalent cationic salt dispersed in the oil. The formulations this way produced show excellent storage stability properties regarding physiochemical parameters, including stability of the neonicotinoid active ingredient, reduced bleeding, and complete redispersibility. Further, they show excellent biological efficacy due to the reduced and homogeneous particle size below 2 μm when diluted—emulsified—in water.

Surfactants in Agrochemical Formulations

Номер: US20120040834A1
Принадлежит: Croda Inc, Croda International PLC

Surfactant compounds which include an amine ended polyalkylene glycol hydrophile linked to C 22 to C 60 mainly hydrocarbyl, particularly composite hydrocarbyl, especially derived from a polymerised fatty acid and/or an aralkyl substituted phenol, hydrophobe, are useful in dispersing solids, particularly active agrochemicals, in aqueous media, or as adjuvants in agrochemical formulations, particularly of water soluble non-selective herbicides. In particular the hydrophobe is derived from polymerised fatty acids, such as dimer and, especially, trimer acids or from aralkyl substituted phenols. Aqueous dispersions using such surfactants can remain stable even with substantial concentrations of electrolyte e.g. in stable agrochemical dispersions including water soluble electrolyte agrochemical, such as glyphosate and/or ammonium sulphate.

Provided is a method for producing a high-purity, high-quality semicarbazide compound at a high yield by a simple method. The semicarbazide compound is recrystallized by a solvent containing a halogenated hydrocarbon. Dichloromethane is preferred as the halogenated hydrocarbon. 2. The method of producing a semicarbazide compound according to claim 1 , wherein the halogenated hydrocarbons are dichloromethane.3. The method of producing a semicarbazide compound according to claim 1 , wherein Rin the above Formula (1) is a phenyl group which may have a substituent. The present invention relates to a method of producing a semicarbazide compound. More specifically, the present invention relates to a production method of obtaining a high purity semicarbazide compound by a simple method.A compound having a structure of 1,2,4-triazoline-3,5-dione is called a Cookson type reagent and has a property of producing, according to a fast and quantitative Diels-Alder reaction with a diene compound, the corresponding ene compound. For this reason, the compound having a structure of 1,2,4-triazoline-3,5-dione is a compound that is used for synthetic reactions and has high usefulness.Furthermore, since the compound having a structure of 1,2,4-triazoline-3,5-dione has high reactivity as the Cookson type reagent, use of the compound as a reagent for derivatization of various compounds has been also suggested. In Non-Patent Document 1, for example, use of 4-dimethylaminophenyl-1,2,4-triazoline-3,5-dione (hereinbelow, abbreviated as “DAPTAD”) as a reagent for derivatization of vitamin D3 is described. In Non-Patent Document 1, it is described that a reaction product between DAPTAD and vitamin D3 exhibits higher sensitivity in mass analysis compared to vitamin D3.As a method of producing such Cookson type reagents, the following synthetic route is disclosed in Non-Patent Document 2.In general, an urazole compound to become a precursor of the Cookson type reagent is synthesized by cyclization ...
