Реферат: Assay Method and Apparatus Abstract A simple method and apparatus for determining the presence of an antigen or antibody of interest in the liquid sample can include providing a first means comprising a porous member having associated therewith one of an antigen-antibody pair, applying to the porous membrane a liquid sample to be tested for the other of the antigen-antibody pair, providing a second means comprising a liquid suspension comprising a plurality of visually perceptible micro particles, preferably polystyrene particles, having attached thereto the one of the antigen-antibody pair associated with the porous membrane, and applying said liquid suspension to the porous membrane after the application of said liquid sample to said membrane to produce a visual indication if the other of the antigen-antibody pair is present in the liquid sample.
