Реферат: The invention relates to a shift device for operating the manual transmission of a motor vehicle, with an axially displaceable shift rod which is operable by means of a manual shift lever, axially displaceable and rotatable about its longitudinal axis and the rotational movements of which are transmitted, by way of a lever connected to its end in a rotationally fixed manner, to a first actuating element of the manual transmission, and the axial movement of which is transmitted by way of an angle lever, acting on it preferably by means of a ball head, to a second actuating element of the manual transmission, the lever being inelastically fixed to a stationary shift head mounted so that it can pivot about its longitudinal axis and the free end of the shift rod being axially displaceable, but engaging in the shift head for the transmission of rotational movements. <IMAGE>
