Реферат: A waterproof sleeping bag for use outdoors on the ground has a non-allergic inner layer (3) for use next to the skin, a heat retaining filling (4) and a waterproof outer layer (2) at least part of the outer layer covering the back of the bag being completely separate from the heat-retaining inner part (36) to which it can be attached by e.g. slide fasteners. The heat-retaining inner part (36) comprises the inner body layer (3), the filling (4) and an intermediate substance (6) and joined together by quilted seams (5). By making the inner and outer parts completely separate there is no danger of the ground moisture being drawn up through the seams and into the inside of the bag. The separate waterproof backing also forms a pocket into which a known air bed (11) can be inserted to provide extra comfort for the sleeper.
