[Class 125(iii)] [Also in Group XXIX] A closure for collapsable tubes comprises an orificed cap 2 which is moved axially away from an orificed nozzle 1 to provide a clear path between the orifices round the edge of a resilient disc 4. In the closed position the disc 4 is flattened and a central boss or plug, which may be carried on a web or attached to the disc by a narrow neck or formed by a fold in the disc, may enter and seal the orifice 3 in the cap, Figs. 9-12 (not shown). Alternatively the disc has a flared skirt 6, Figs. 3-5, which is gripped between the cap and the nozzle and a raised central portion forming the equivalent of a boss (see also Figs. 6-8 and 14 (not shown) The edges of the disc may be cut away at intervals to allow the tube contents to pass more easily to the orifice in the cap.
