Improvements in Carburettors for Internal Combustion Motors.
Реферат: 12,015. Pons, V. June 6,1913, [Convention date]. Spray carburettors.-The lift of a movable sprayer of the type described in Specification 19,332/11 is controlled by a rod attached to the throttle valve. The sprayer 15 is lifted by suction acting upon the disk 16, and the lift is regulated by the rod 21 carried by the throttle valve 22. The lower end 20 of the rod has a sharp edge which divides the jet and facilitates breaking up of the fuel, and mixing is further assisted by the cross-bar 3 which guides the rod 21. Where the height of the carburettor is limited, the red 21 may be replaced by a cam on the throttle valve, which cam is in contact with the sprayer. The flow of fuel is controlled by a valve 12 and a needle valve 19 carried by the sprayer, but this needle valve may be replaced by a ball valve. Air orifices 26 at the upper end of the nozzle ensure a good mixture at low speeds when suction takes place through the adjustable by-pass 23. Hot-air or water may circulate through the jacket 27. The parts 1, 4 of the casing are secured by bayonet-joints to facilitate inspection.
