Реферат: 936,709. Fishing floats and lures. W. SEIGLE. Jan. 29, 1962, No. 3286/62. Class 48. [Also in Group XXV] A fishing line clamp for connecting a float or lure to a fishing line 21, Fig. 2, comprises a pair of split rings 22, 24 secured to or formed integrally on the periphery of the float or lure to provide an opening 30 for the fishing line, and a third split ring 32 rotatably mounted between the first two split rings 22, 24 and adapted to be manually rotated to clamp the line to the float. The split ring 32 is preferably circular in cross-section and has an end 36 which is outwardly bent to enable the ring to be grasped. The other end 34 is preferably arcuately curved outwardly to guide the ring over the line. A bowed portion 48, Fig. 7, of or a transverse groove in the split ring 32 forms an opening 50 which when positioned opposite the opening 30 enables the float to slide on the line 21. A stop which bridges and connects the respective ends 29, 27 of the pair of split rings 22, 24 may be provided to prevent rotative movement of the ring 32 by engagement with the end portion 36 when the clamp is disengaged. The ends of the split ring 32 may be formed into closed loops.
