Process for the polymerisation of copolymerisation of olefins
Реферат: 1464909 Catalyst components for use in α- olefin polymerization SOLVAY & CIE 21 Nov 1974 [22 Nov 1973] 50449/74 Heading C3P A solid catalyst component for use in the poly. merization of α-olefins together with an activator which is an organometallic compound of a metal of group Ia, IIa, IIb, IIIb or IVb of the Mendeleef Periodic Table is prepared by reacting together (a) a magnesium compound (b) an aluminium halide and (c) an organometallic compound of a metal (M) of group IVa, Va or VIa of said Periodic Table optionally together with a liquid organic oxygen-containing compound of a metal (including silicon) of group IIIb or IVb of said Periodic Table. Preferably (a) contains at least one Mg-O bond and/or at least one Mg-halogen bond and (b) is R m M where R is an organic radical where m is the valency of M and M is Ti, Cr, V or Zr. In the examples magnesium ethylate or magnesium chloride monohydrate (prepared by heating the tetrahydrate) is suspended in a solution of titanium tetrabenzyl (prepared by reaction of TiCl 4 with benzyl magnesium chloride) in petroleum ether to which AlEtCl 2 dissolved in hexane is subsequently added and the solid precipitate formed after heating is used with triisobutyl aluminium to polymerize ethylene in hexane in the presence of hydrogen with continuous addition of ethylene.
